In this wave ripple effect in Flash tutorial, you will learn how to animate ocean waves with a sunset background. This is an easy tutorial, very similar to the Animated Flag.
We will use an ocean image which you can download below. Then we will add the wave’s animation over the ocean part of the image. We do all this in a few layers, with techniques like masking, and drawing the curved lines for the wave effect.
Then we create a motion tween for an animation timeline for the wave animation in Flash.
We will create a sunset scene with the sun close to the horizion. Then create a reflection of the sun on the waves. Then we add a red overlay to the scene.
And that is how I made a rippling water effect in Adobe Flash Professional. Read the tutorial below.
In this Adobe Flash animated text effects tutorial, we will make a cool text animation. We will use our website name and animate the text just using layers and various tools and animation effects available in Adobe Flash Professional. Check the animation shown.
So, to animate text in Flash, you basically break apart your text so you can animate each one as a letter. Each letter has own layer. Learn how to use motion tweening to start a timeline animation. Each letter can be scaled or rotated in its own layer, creating individual animations of the letters. Publish to a SWF file when you are finished.
Check the final SWF animation at the end of this tutorial.
This tutorial covers a step-by-step process on how to make Flash animation. We will draw a jetpack with a thrusting animation in Flash and give it vertical flight with some simple actionscript code.
The actionscript code is short, giving just vertical mouse control over the animation. So you are free to experiment with additional code for horizontal movement, and even add more animation. You will see that creating a simple flash animation is not that hard after all. So give it a try!
At least basic knowledge of Flash is required to follow the tutorial smoothly. But you can learn from this Flash animation tutorial, even if you are an absolute beginner. Watch the video for a quick preview.
In this tutorial, we will be looking at how Keyframes work in Flash layers, and how to use them to create flash animation (for beginners). The animation we will make is a simple counter. It goes from 1 to 3 and continues in a loop.
The Flash timeline consists of layers, frames and keyframes. In all the layers in flash, you can add frames or keyframes. Keyframes have a black circle inside them, while regular frames do not. A keyframe represents change. When adding a new keyframe, you can change the contents on that layer from that frame and any regular frame after it. Regular frames after a keyframe will have the same content as the keyframe before them.
