The effectiveness of reciprocal building has greatly demised in the last few years with some major websites like Google not giving attention to such links. However, the advantages of reciprocal sharing in overall traffic cannot be denied.
Resource links are simple hyperlinks that contain link to a website that contains information on what is being discussed. These types of links are extremely useful for several purposes and not just for SEO. With Google’s updated policy, the importance of resource links has only increased, as these are considered relevant and informative.
An easy way of improving your website’s ranking is by having content that is unique and informative so that other websites use it as a resource and link back to your website. Since almost all major search engines use links to analyze a website’s relevance and value, one cannot overemphasize about this point.

Many paid and free web directories add links and categorize them accordingly. You should try to get your website added in as many directories as possible. If you do not want to pay then you may only concentrate on free web directories.
These greatly help improve search engine optimization as these web directories hold a lot of importance. Additionally, many people also use these to search for specific sites.

This is a way of categorizing and saving web pages in a public location. Bookmarks are basically links with proper anchor texts, they have SEO value. Crawlers pay attention to these bookmarks links and they may be helpful in giving your web traffic a boost.
